DD creams are here!

DD creams??? Seriously?!?!? It was just like yesterday when I joked about DD creams. And recently DD creams were launched in UK. So i’m guessing there will be EE creams, FF creams, GG creams in future! Well, I’m really looking forward to that

As we know, we have BB and CC creams in market. BB creams are more like a moisturizer + foundation thingy with anti-aging benefits. Then, came CC cream which provides better coverage and covers uneven skin tones. And now... DD creams are on its way to be the next big thing!

According to a source, DD creams (a.k.a Daily Defense Creams) target the foot and body with a heavier texture. A self tanning DD cream was launched in UK which means we will be seeing DD creams soon enough!

Are CC creams the new BB cream?

CC creams (Colour Control Cream) are improved version of BB creams. This product has been gaining popularity in Korea and UK. What are actually CC creams? How do they differ from BB creams?

These new creams have lighter texture and non-oily formulation which is great for acne-prone skin. CC creams act as a moisturizer, primer, foundation, anti-aging cream and SPF. They provide a better coverage and a higher SPF for additional protection against the UVA and UVB rays. It blends with the skin very well and covers uneven skin tones better than BB creams. CC creams come in different shades, from light to dark while BB creams are only suitable for lighter skin tones.

We have been witnessing a huge impact of BB creams over the past few years and I am expecting the same with CC creams.
