5 Things You Should Know About Cleansing Your Face

#1 Choose the right cleanser

Oily or acne prone skin : Go for something that is oil free. It cleanses your skin without clogging pores.

Dry skin : Cream cleansers are definitely your choice! It helps to keep your skin hydrated

Sensitive skin : Go for cleansers that are designed for sensitive skin which contains mild AHA

#2 Keep your face clean

Your skin repairs itself at night, so cleansing your face allows a maximum absorption of your skincare products. Always wanted to achieve a healthy glow? Apply your moisturizer before bed, its that’s simple! It only takes about 5 minutes to make a difference!

#3 Massage your skin the right way

Use your fingertips and massage your skin during cleansing to stimulate blood circulation. Or you could opt for beauty tools like Clarisonic Mia which gently exfoliates and beeps to ensure enough time is spent on each section of your face.

#4 Keep things lukewarm

When you’re done cleansing, rinse your face with lukewarm water to wash off your cleanser. If possible, nothing that is too warm or else your skin will dry up. Never wash your face with too hot or too cold water!  (it causes broken capillaries)

#5 Keep your towel clean

Use a clean towel to dry your face (use it only on your face). Avoid drying your face with a towel that has been hanging for days. It contains lots of bacteria and i’m sure you don’t want them on your face! When drying your face, pat your face dry not rubbing it with a towel. Be as gentle as possible.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I might have missed out a few stuff and i’m sorry if i did. Till then have a nice day! xx
