Start off with the under-eye area. Apply
several dots of concealer along the eye area in a crescent shape. Pat in the
concealer with your ring finger (or brush, sponge) and blend it. Ring finger
applies the least pressure on your delicate skin. Do not rub! Rubbing your
concealer will indirectly remove your makeup and irritate your eyes. Use
sponges for a thin and sheer coverage. Also, apply concealer around the nose
and mouth area. Less is better, too much of concealer will make your face look
cakey. Next, apply foundation and blend it outwards. Dab and blend your
concealer on any remaining spots on the face. If you are dealing with pimples,
choose a concealer than matches your skin tone.
Concealer, before or after Foundation?
"If your face feels naked without foundation, apply it first. Then
dot concealer only where you need extra coverage." —Cynde Watson,

"If you don't like to wear a full face of foundation, apply concealer first to the areas that need full coverage. Then you might find you don't need foundation at all—or need only a little bit to even out skin tone and make your skin look flawless." —Bobbi Brown, founder of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics (source : oprah.com)
