CC creams (Colour Control Cream) are improved version of BB creams. This
product has been gaining popularity in Korea and UK. What are actually CC
creams? How do they differ from BB creams?
These new creams have lighter texture and non-oily formulation which is
great for acne-prone skin. CC creams act as a moisturizer, primer, foundation,
anti-aging cream and SPF. They provide a better coverage and a higher SPF for
additional protection against the UVA and UVB rays. It blends with the skin
very well and covers uneven skin tones better than BB creams. CC creams come in
different shades, from light to dark while BB creams are only suitable for
lighter skin tones.
We have been witnessing a huge impact of BB creams over the past few
years and I am expecting the same with CC creams.
